When you walk through the doors of the Marion Public Library, you aren't just entering a building full of books. You are stepping into a vibrant hub of lifelong learning, a safe space for discovery, and a vital resource that bridges the gaps in our community. From early literacy programs that spark a child’s imagination to digital resources that help local job seekers, the library is the heartbeat of Marion.

No matter who you are or what you are looking for, the library has something for you. With over 380,000 physical and digital items available for checkout and 400 enriching programs, it is a place where anyone can learn something new, connect with neighbors, or get lost in a captivating story.

Since our founding in 2015, BookMarks has proudly raised and donated nearly a quarter million dollars to support this vital institution. While public funding keeps the doors open, it is community generosity that allows the library to truly thrive.

Today, our support is needed more than ever. As our library building ages, operational costs continue to rise. At the same time, the library is working harder than ever to expand its outreach and adequately serve our community's most vulnerable populations.
